Friendly staff and good location, but rooms badly need a makeover.

Families with children will find it acceptable
The staff were friendly, Andrew the manager and Rochelle at the front desk were really nice, always ready to help out whenever I had questions. One morning, the breakfast was actually hot for once and I enjoyed a decent cup of coffee, which really made a difference for me.
It was kinda pricey for what you actually get but okay enough.

During my stay, I appreciated the spacious room with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing meals. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my experience enjoyable despite the limited breakfast options. A good base for exploring Albany's charming surroundings.

The fully equipped kitchen provided great flexibility for cooking meals, a real plus for travelers. The room layout comfortably accommodated the family, making it a cozy place to relax after a long day.
Upon entering, the general vibe felt dated—cracked tiles and worn furniture suggested a need for some major updates. The coffee maker was dirty, and it took some effort just to figure out how to make it work. Breakfast options left much to be desired, barely qualifying as a morning meal with only granola bars and coffee. There was also awkward noise from nearby rooms and hallways, particularly late at night, which can be quite disruptive. Additionally, the lack of daily housekeeping was surprising. you have to bring your used towels down yourself, which can be a hassle when you've other items to deal with.

We loved our stay at the hotel! The nearby Catskills offered a fantastic chance for hiking and enjoying the great outdoors, which was a hit with the kids. We also appreciated the room's spacious kitchenette that made family meals easy and enjoyable.
In my wife’s opinion, there should have been more kid-friendly breakfast options.

If you’re into easy eats and quick bites, the nearby cafés hit the right spots. plus, the kitchen area in my room was super handy for cooking up some simple delights. The location is convenient too!
Yikes, the 'breakfast' was just some sad coffee and granola bars, and the place overall felt pretty dingy. There’s definitely a need for some serious TLC here.

Friendly Staff and Convenient Location
The staff here were incredibly friendly and always eager to help, making the check-in process smooth. I especially appreciated the fully equipped kitchen in my room, which allowed me to prepare my own meals during my stay. However, the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the room could use some improvement, as I noticed some issues that were less than ideal.
